J.P. Morgan Chase, HSBC manipulovali cenu striebra

Ak trh vlastníte, tak ho v podstate aj kontrolujete resp. ovládate. Počas roka 2008 dve megabanky J.P. Morgan Chase a HSBC pravdepodobne zarobili miliardy dolárov na manipulácii trhu so striebrom. Vlastnili viac ako 85% krátkych pozícií, tzn. stavili na pokles jeho ceny. Cena v tomto období poklesla z US$19,50 na US$8,50/oz.
