Podľa profesora Roubiniho cena zlata môže vzrásť len v dvoch prípadoch: prvým je inflácia a druhým je obdobie depresie. V krátkodobom horizonte avšak nevidí ani jeden z týchto prípadov reálne ovplyvňovať cenu žltého kovu.
