V USA vzrastá počet štátov usilujúcich sa o prijatie vlastnej alternatívnej meny k USD, ktorá by bola vyrobená zo zlata a striebra. Dôvodom sú obavy z kolapsu amerického doláru. Pred tromi rokmi len tri štáty mali záujem o novú menu, v súčasnosti sa ich počet zvýšil na trinásť.
