The rambling money manager says the dollar is is on the decline, but he is beside himself over growth in China. He's putting his money where his mouth is--literally and figuratively. Rogers plans to convert all his American money to yuan and other currencies he believes are on the up and up.

He isn't going to cry about the slipstream he sees forming behind the U.S. economy, he's going to capitalize on growth elsewhere. The great news is that everyone is invited to join the fun and buy a lot of the stuff he's already sunk his teeth into. He may be a boy from Alabama, but his new sweet home is in Hong Kong and Rogers is right sure that Chinese investing prospects are tasty good.

Rogers pretty much sees the American economy slowing to a crawl, so much that only the hunger drive can keep the U.S. from flat-lining completely. He recommends agriculture and other commodities as good investments during hard times.

Rogers might be after glory and yuan positioning himself as a southern evangelist for eastern profit, but he's also putting his reputation and treasure on the line, making it that much more fun to watch his fate play out. He dubbed his 1101 day around-the-world trip with his wife as "The Millennial Challenge." The title given to their extended vacation might better fit overcoming world hunger or climate change, but that's Rogers, a real bull in China's shop.
