Komodity poklesnú o 10-15%
Podľa BoC by mali komodity do roku 2010 poklesnúť o 10-15%
Commodity prices should retreat by 10 to 15 percent by the end of 2010, while the Canadian dollar should remain relatively steady around 98 U.S. cents (C$1.02 to the dollar) in coming months, the Bank of Canada projected on Thursday.
The central bank said in its Monetary Policy Report that non-energy commodities were higher than in its January update "but are expected to ease by about 15 percent between now and the end of 2010." Supplies should gradually adjust as new production capacity comes online and weather disruptions unwind, and demand should ease as global growth slows, it said.
It bases its crude oil projections on futures showing they should fall by 10 percent from $112 per barrel seen in mid-April to $102 in 2010.
