Čína hľadá investície
Čína sa usiluje urýchliť rast svojho jadrového priemyslu a v súvislosti s tým sa obracia na zahraničných investorov.
China's state-controlled agencies and companies are increasingly turning to foreign investors to help speed-up development of the domestic energy sector including nuclear, according to a new analysis.
International consultancy group Capgemini says in a report that among the main investment opportunities in China are markets for global manufacturers who can provide equipment for sectors such as nuclear energy, clean coal and wind power, a nuclear communication network `NucNet' reported.
Even with the additional capacity planned, per capita consumption of electricity in China will only reach the level of the US in the 1950s.
"Our research has found that China is unlikely to reduce its dependence on coal in the near future, and that nuclear energy is with hydropower and natural gas, an interesting option to adjust the power mix that China needs, Lewiner said in yesterday's issue of NucNet.
The stated goal was to reach an installed capacity totaling 40 gigawatts by 2020.
She said in total, more than 25 sites are planned by China for construction of nuclear power plants by 2020.
