Jemen zvýši ťažbu ropy
Jemen chce do roku 2010 zvýšiť ťažbu ropy na 50 tis. barelov za deň.
The last week Yemen announced its decision to increase oil production up to 50,000 barrels per day by 2010.
Yemen’s oil and minerals minister Khaled Bahah announced the new target at a news meet here. He said the ministry is still working to improve the current production blocks and enter new exploration blocks to raise the production in addition to attract further international oil companies to invest in the country.
Yemen’s oil production had slumps to a meager 317 barrels per day in 2007 from 43,800 barrels per day in 2002.
