Čína útočí na dolár
Predstaviteľ Číny na stretnutí G8 otvoril otázku nad dominantným postavením dolára ako svetovej rezervnej meny. Čína spolu s niekoľkými krajinami sa snažia presadiť alternatívnu medzinárodnú menu (k doláru), ktorá by bola pod kontrolou MMF.
Stabilizácia výmenných kurzov medzi hlavnými menami bol ďalším predmetom záujmu čínskeho predstaviteľa.
