Následujúci graf dáva všetkým odpoveď, prečo tzv. "gold bugs" neprestajne opakujú svoju frázu: "investujte do zlata a akcií zlatých firiem". To, čo sa stalo s venezuelským bolívarom voči zlatu sa v nasledujúcich rokoch môže udiať takmer hocikde. Neočakávane, rýchlo s negatívnymi dôsledkami pre "tých obyčajných".
Gold bugs are forever telling you to buy gold because it is 'nobody else's liability'.
But recent events in Venezuela give us a nice illustration of what that phrase really means. And there's a stark, but important message for savers everywhere.
