Obavy z bankrotu bánk primäli Grékov vyprázdňovať svoje účty a nakupovať zlato. Ďalšou ochranou investícií je aj vkladať peniaze do zeme. Takže prvé indikácie, čo ľudia považujú za hodnotné počas obdobia krízy: zlato a pôdu. Scenár, ktorý sa časom v globále značne rozšíri.

.Others put their savings into land when prices fell after Greece’s first European Union-led rescue in the middle of last year. Angelos, a software specialist, bought a neighbour’s olive grove in his home village. “I grabbed the opportunity,” he said. “A year ago I wouldn’t have considered making such an old-fashioned investment.”
