Milión už nie je tým miliónom, čo bývaval
Aj napriek tomu, že v súčasnosti je niekoľkonásobne viac milionárov tak to ešte neznamená, že spoločnosť je prosperujúcejšia a ľudstvo má viac bohatstva. Podľa BLS (Bureau of Labor Statistics) milión dolárov v r. 1971 mal 5-krát väčšiu hodnotu ako v súčasnosti; avšak podľa Shadowstats.com ju mal až 19-krát!
Napr. v roku 1980 zimbabwiansky dolár bol silnejší ako americký. V 2008 ste už potrebovali 1 bilión zimbabwianskych dolárov, aby ste mohli kúpiť jeden americký...
