Nová latinskoamerická mena - Sucre
Deväť krajín ALBA: Venezuela, Bolívia, Kuba, Ekvádor, Nikaragua, Honduras, Dominika, Svätý Vincent a Antigua&Barbuda odobrili vytvorenie a používanie novej meny v ich interných obchodoch - Sucre.
Táto regionálna mena bude náhradou za americký dolár a začne sa používať v roku 2010 v ne-papierovej forme. Pomenovanie je podľa hrdinu Jose Antonia de Sucre, ktorý začiatkom 19st. spolu so Simonom Bolívarom bojoval za nezávislosť od Španielska.
