Zaplatí Chevron pokutu US$27 mld.?
Ekvádorský obyvatelia amazonského pralesa žalujú ropného giganta Chevron za znečistenie vody v ich oblasti. Asi 30 tisíc ľudí stojí za žalobou. Chevron môže zaplatiť pokutu vo výške 27 miliárd dolárov. Bola by to jedna z najväčších v histórii environmentu.
Tens of thousands of Ecuadoreans living in the Amazon rainforest are suing Chevron, the US oil company, for poisoning their waterways in what is billed as one of the biggest environmental lawsuits in history.
