Správa OSN odporúča opustiť dolár ako výhradnú svetovú rezervnú menu, nakoľko mena nie je schopná udržiavať si stabilnú hodnotu. Avšak niektorí európski experti tvrdia, že trh, nie politici určia, ktorá mena sa má v globále stať rezervnou.
