Cena zlata by v tomto roku mala dosiahnuť US$1700/oz a v ďalšom cyklickom vrchole až US$3000/oz. Dôvodmi sú: inflácia; kríza v Eurozóne; apetít z Číny; dlhodobý vysoký dopyt z Indie; záujem zo strany Centrálnych bánk; zlato si "oprašuje" opätovný štatút legitímnej investície; minimálne zvýšenie jeho ťažby.
Gold specialist analyst Jeff Nichols firmly believes that this year the price will continue to rise to $1700 or higher and eventually reach $3,000 or higher at the next cyclical peak.
