Spotreba striebra v priemysle necháva malý priestor pre investorov. V roku 2010 len 12%, čo je asi 100 miliónov uncí, bolo určených pre investičnú oblasť. Z toho 43 mil. pohltil SLV a PSLV. 57 mil. uncí v hodnote US$2 mld. zostal pre zbytok investorov. Takže za US$10 mld. by ste kúpili štvorročný objem. Mimochodom, trhová hodnota iShares Silver Trust (SLV) sa odhaduje asi na US$10 mld.
