Cena zlata môže zopakovať obdobný vzostup a prepad ako v 80-tych rokoch. Projekcia ceny na základe Elliotových vĺn je v nasledujúcich rokoch US$4000/oz; koncom tohto roku US$2345/oz.
Saying that bullion prices are being increasingly driven by emotion; Wang Tao, the commodities analyst at Reuters commented that Gold may repeat the 1980’s bull rally and subsequently crash.
The 1980 cycle was made of three waves a-b-c, and wave c travelled 4.618 times the length of wave a. "That ratio may repeat under the present scenario, indicating Gold could hit about $4,000 over the next few years”
But the analyst cautioned that it would be too aggressive to target $4000 right now. Instead, he would prefer to target $2345 by the year end.
Mr Wang Tao also warned of a gold crash similar to the 1980’s when after the parabolic rise to $850, the yellow metal crashed to around $300, a decline of over 65%.
