G. Soros pre Bloomberg: "otáznikom je, či americký dolár by mal zostať rezervnou menou; vlastne už ani nie je, svoje postavenie zdieľa s eurom, s inými menami a aj s komoditami. Avšak nie len zlato je považované za jeho náhradu, ale aj ropa, ktorá takto vytvára tlak na trhy.
