Podľa GFMS vzrastie v tomto roku dopyt po striebre z výrobnej sféry o 3,9%; z 544 mil. uncí v 2012 na 877 uncí. Zlatníctvo skonzumuje o 5,6% viac; mince a medaile až o 19% viac striebra ako v minulom roku.
