Zámysel JP Morgan Chase a Blackrock vytvoriť medený ETF môže mať vplyv na priemyselnú ponuku na trhu a zvýšiť volatilitu pohybu ceny. Taktiež vrastajú obavy, že meď by sa stala nástrojom špekulatívnych manipulácií.
JP Morgan Chase and Blackrock’s plan for a Copper ETF has raised concerns that such an action would make the much used industrial metal an instrument of speculative manipulation.
Both investment banks had filed an application back in October 2010 with a view to profit from the huge demand expected in the future.
As such Copper ETFs could affect the industrial supply and create a much greater volatility in copper prices.
