GFMS - zlato na $1300

Podľa GFMS cena žltého kovu v roku 2010 dosiahne nové maximum pri US$1300 /oz. Avšak pokiaľ by sa investori začali pozerať na iné aktíva, tak zlato resp. drahé kovy by pravdepodobne boli vystavené veľkej korekcii.

Gold prices will hit record highs in 2010 as investments in the precious metal is expected to rise in the first half of the year.

This forecast was made by global research firm GFMS tis week. Gold will cost more than $1,200 per ounce by the second quarter of this year.

GFMS said a growing weight of investment money is poised to enter the market in the first half of 2010 and is likely to push gold prices to fresh records.

However, the big role being played by investment demand leaves the gold market vulnerable to a major correction if and when investors start looking elsewhere.

The price of gold will likely rise above 2009’s record of $1226/oz this year, and could even climb as high as $1300/oz if the global economic recovery proves sufficiently sluggish and new investment money continues to enter the market.
