HUI indikátor napomáha investorom pri predvídaní pohybu ceny zlata v krátkodobom horizonte. Do pozornosti dávame podobnosť vytvorených formácií na dennom/týždennom grafe. V roku 2008 po prelomení 200MA nastal prudký pokles HUI. Aj napriek pozitívnym očakávaniam ďalšieho vývoja ceny zlata by sa z technického pohľadu situácia podceňovať nemala.
