Pestovanie potravinových komodít musí vzrásť o 70%
FAO varuje, že pokiaľ sa na pestovanie potravinových komodít nezačne zúrodňovať viac zeme, do roku 2050 bude na planéte hladovať 370 miliónov ľudí. Odhaduje sa, že v polovici storočia bude na Zemi asi 9,1 miliardy ľudí.
Food production will have to increase by 70% over the next 40 years to feed the world's growing population, the United Nations food agency predicts.
