Okrem investovania do PMs resp. akcií firiem v danej oblasti je dobré zamerať pozornosť aj na ďalší minerál - urán. Boom v rokoch 2005-2007 bol vytvorený špekuláciami; avšak za súčasným rastom ceny stojí faktor dopytu a ponuky. Je možné, že v 2011 bude mať uránový sektor lepšie percentuálne zhodnotenie ako sektor drahých kovov.
