Investor Jim Rogers sa o budúcnosti anglickej libry nevyjadruje veľmi pozitívne. Jedine v prípade veľkého oslabenia je ochotný ju nakúpiť. To isté platí aj o akciových trhoch. 20-30% korekcia by pritiahla jeho pozornosť. Avšak cena zlata do budúcnosti podstatne vzrastie.
Speaking in a Bloomberg interview Friday, Rogers said: "Things are pretty bad for sterling for the long, long, long term."
"I cannot imagine buying sterling back unless it gets really cheap," he added.
Rogers told Bloomberg he expects gold to go 'much higher' in the next decade. He is not purchasing equities, yet may do so when they correct, he said.
If the stock market “goes down 20%-30%, that would probably raise my interest,” he said.
