Prečo Afganistan?
Prítomnosť zahraničných vojsk (ale obzvlášť amerických) nie je ani tak na likvidáciu Talibanu ako takého, ale na zabezpečenie dvoch základných zdrojov príjmov: ópia a nerastného bohatstva. USA sa na globálny vývoj pozerajú (a plánujú) niekoľko rokov dopredu (v určitých prípadoch až 50) a pretože pravdepodobne vedia čo nastane, tak si pre ďalšie fungovanie krajiny musia zabezpečovať potrebné zdroje. A je úplne jedno, akou formou.

Because, slowly the Afghanistan’s miner richness is coming out in the open. And the wealth is pegged at $ 1-3 trillion.
The mineral wealth of Afghanistan has remained largely unexploited because the country has been mired in conflict for three decades and is today embroiled in an insurgency by Islamist militants led by the Taliban.
