Havária vo Fukushime môže spomaliť, avšak nie zastaviť rozmach jadrovej energie. V budúcich rokoch IAEA aj naďalej predpovedá jej značný vzostup s očakávaným globálnym "prírastkom" min. 90 nových reaktorov (do r. 2030).
