Podľa predpovede GFMS sa cena bieleho kovu v tomto roku dostane až na US$50/oz. Následne by sa sa avšak mohla hlboko prepadnúť. Za posledných 12 mesiacov cena striebra zhodnotila 121%!

The silver market is likely to continue its spectacular ascent and to touch a record high at more than $50 a troy ounce this year - but could then crash back to earth, according to new forecasts by GFMS, a leading precious metals consultancy.

A price of $50 an ounce would lead to “quite a significant selling pressure” from profit-taking and worries about rising interest rates that would not be positive for gold and silver as investors seek alternative securities, Mr. Klapwijk warned.
