Podľa UBS cena bieleho kovu môže vystúpiť až na US$55/oz, avšak následne v horizonte 12 mesiacov poklesne na US$34/oz. Silný investičný a priemyselný dopyt stoja za súčasným parabolickým rastom jeho ceny.

“While further advances in the short run cannot be ruled out, we do not expect current levels to be sustained, and we target price setbacks to USD 34/oz over the next 12 months,” explain UBS’ analysts. Strong financial demand, on the back of firm and substantial industrial demand, have helped “balloon price” to unsustainable levels, forcing the analysts to call for a near-term correction.
