Volatilita zlata
Investori o.i. aj kvôli volatilite (nestálosti) alokujú 5-10% svojho portfólia do fyzického zlata resp. akcií "zlatých" spoločností. V minulom roku sa volatilita zlata pohybovala na úrovni asi len 16%, čo je oproti 2009 zníženie o 8%. Volatilita striebra sa v 2010 pohybovala na úrovni 32%.
