MOREOVER, Central Banks and Public Banks have recently become aware of this fact, which is their motivation to be buying gold and recommending same to its depositors.
Needless to say the gold price rise will be occasionally marked by nervous volatility. Nonetheless, all temporary corrections will be profitable opportunities to buy gold on the cheap.
My 2010 Forecast sees gold reaching a high range of $1300-$1500/oz. And more volatile silver could reach $25-$29/oz -- but HUI will be Top-Gun soaring to a range 743-956.
The above projections are predicated upon a slowly falling US dollar. Were the greenback to soar for whatever reason, then my forecast is null and void. HOWEVER, economic and political conditions in the USA are conducive to a slowly falling dollar.
